My friend Chandis Saunders took our engagement pictures! She was so nice and did them for free! Too nice to use. She was super busy with school and work and she still did them. She's so sweet!

Getting Engaged!

So I'm going to do a photo dump here on my blog! Since this is my makeshift journal I wanted to include the pictures from getting engaged, engagements, bridals, wedding, etc. I also wanted to take them off of my Facebook. I don't know why.. I swear I'm OCD a little bit. I have a lot of old memories on my old blog so I wanted to put some on here. (If you want to check out my old blog click here)

*Here is an excerpt from an old blog post. #lazy
Trevor asked me to go to California with him and some friends and I told him if I go I will NOT go on the Tower of Terror and he agreed. So we get there and our friends say they want to go on that ride and so I assume Trevor will say.. "Oh no..we'll sit this one out.." Oh no. He begged me to go on it and our friends kept saying that it would "change my life" so I decided I would go and I seriously almost backed out. I was so nervous! Little did I know he was extremely nervous as well! I went on that ride and I LOVED it! I was laughing and having such a good time! I went to look at the picture and I laughed looking how ridiculous I looked and I turned around to show Trevor and I couldn't see him and all I could see were my friends with their phones pointed at me. I then see Trevor on one knee in front of me holding the box with my ring in and he is asking me to marry him! Of course I said yes! I was soooo shocked! I had no idea! In the picture he was holding the box with the ring in it! So adorable! It was so fun being in California! I seriously miss that place so much! And to get engaged at Disneyland! Or I guess it's in California Adventure? But I think it's a perfect place to get engaged (I know.. SO many people get engaged there) because who doesn't love Disneyland!? The happiest place on earth!

My Morning

So.. I get really bored here. There isn't a whole lot for me to do during the day so I've been searching for things to do. I just made this super random video and it was great because it kept me preoccupied! At least for the morning anyway! (If it doesn't work click here)

Breanne Came To Visit!

on
Wednesday, November 25, 2015

Is this an oil painting? NOPE just the beautiful Arkansas countryside!
Some of these photos were taken with Breanne's phone so they aren't the best quality but I was super impressed by the quality of the camera on her phone!

*

Breanne came to visit! It was SO nice having her here! Especially because Trevor has been going to Alabama every weekend for training! I was pretty excited when I found out she was coming! She wanted to surprise me, but Trevor kind of dropped the ball on that one. ;) Unfortunately she came Thursday night and left Sunday morning so we only had 2 full days but we made the best of it!

I took her to Eureka Springs for her first day and she absolutely loved it! More than I thought she would! I seriously am going to take anyone there who comes here because it's so cool! My brother took me there the first time I came! It's just a quaint little town and I love it. So we explored around until the late afternoon (because I can't drive at night very well! My eyes are going SO bad!). When we got back into town we went to the amazing outlet mall we have here. I love it!

The next day we went to another mall and Breanne got some really cool stuff! I was slightly jealous! Then we went to Crystal Bridges which is an amazing art museum! This rich lady built this museum and bought all this art and made sure that it was free for the public! So nice! There are a lot of Norman Rockwell paintings there like "Rosie The Riveter"! Then we went back to the outlet mall (We like shopping, okay?). Then went out to eat and hung out! It was so nice just to hang out with a friend!! I'm super grateful for Breanne and glad she still likes to hang out with me and likes me enough to fly all the way to Arkansas!!! So any friends who want to come visit me you are certainly welcome to! Ask Breanne - Arkansas is cooler than you'd think!

Eureka Springs

on
Monday, October 5, 2015

About an hour away from where we live is this awesome town called Eureka Springs! Its so beautiful. Except the weekend we went there was an event called "Bikers, Blues, & Barbecue" so there were soooooo many motorcycles everywhere! Ughhh it was so hard to get anywhere. The first time I came to Arkansas about 2 years ago my brother took my mom and I here and I fell in love!
As we got there I had to use the bathroom so we found the quickest place we could and we were so lost and in some random neighborhood and I had been telling Trevor about these really old hotels that are supposedly "haunted" and we accidentally drove right to the biggest one! So we roamed around the hotel and below this hotel is this Catholic church so we went and roamed around that also.
There are trolleys running the streets showing cool places around Eureka Springs and when we left the hotel we went down this random street and it was just a quiet little neighborhood and we saw a trolley parked so we stopped to see what they were looking at as they were leaving. It was this wall of ivy hanging down and a deep staircase and a small little cave! It was so incredibly beautiful outside of the cave and down inside the cave it was so cold! It was actually really creepy. Inside in the very back was a candle and a little statue. It was freaky.
After exploring we got a bite to eat and headed to "Christ of the Ozarks". It's a huge Christus. The first time I saw it was 2 years ago when I first came and we were driving and I saw a HUGE statue of Christ off in the distance in between the trees and I was like "What the heck was that!?" So we went and checked it out! It felt like we were in Brazil! Its big but not as big as Brazil's. It was so fun exploring except for all the bikers!

Exploring Kansas City!

So.. we moved from Kansas City! We moved to Springdale, Arkansas (our apartment is literally 3 minutes away from my brother's house!). It's super exciting! We are staying with my brother and his family until our apartment is ready! Its been super fun!
Before we left we took a day to explore the city and go to the places that we missed out on while we lived there. We started by going to this restaurant called "Kansas City Joe's Barbecue" It was on "Man vs. Food"! It was reeeeally good however I got super sick after. We had to wait in a line that was going clear out past the doors. It's that popular. Then we to this art museum. We actually just stayed outside of it which was amazing itself. There were sooo many wedding parties getting their pictures taken! There were also sooo many fun things to look at! There was this glass maze! Its so much harder than it sounds! Poor Emma was so confused and didnt enjoy it as much as Trevor and I. By the end everyone single kid that went inside came out crying from hitting their heads! It was quite hilarious! After that we went to this amazing shopping outlet. The best way I can describe it is a neighborhood of stores. There were some high end stores that I clearly stayed away from but man it was awesome! It really was such a fun day exploring the city! Also Emma peed through her diaper at the beginning of the day and I totally forgot an extra outfit so that's why she's in just a diaper in these photos!

Parkville Days

I don't know why I always take pictures of just Emma's head!? It cracks me up!

Trevor and I went to Parkville Days to help out our friend Charity who had a booth up for her massage business (legacymassage.com ! I designed her logo,website.. it doesn't look that great.. yet! And business cards and pretty much everything else! It's pretty fun!). On our way we happened upon Hogwarts an awesome college! I was seriously in love! I mean their library was in the ground like a Hobbit hole! A school that looks like it could be from the books Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings? Where do I apply!? It was pretty cool! Then we went to the event and hung out and tried to book people for a massage!

Infused Water

on
Thursday, August 13, 2015

I LOVE water but I've been drinking it infused with fruit lately and I am absolutely loving it. My fav is lemon and cucumber. I drank so much water the first time I tried it. I highly recommend doing this if you have a hard time getting enough water everyday!

Sleep

I love a sleeping Emma.
I took these on her birthday!
