Afternoon walk

After a huge storm hit a welcoming sunny day came around but was then followed by another stormy day the next day.. Welcome to Kansas. Taking advantage of the beautiful day Emma and I went for a walk. Trevor pointed out this trail on our way to church last Sunday so I walked down and found it. It was seriously the prettiest walk I have ever been on! I was in disbelief the whole time! Just walking towards the trail I was next to a fairly busy road on the left and then a ton of trees and wilderness on the right! It was pretty amazing and so green! I was dying over the beautiful tree tunnels and fields. Ugh.. still dying. I walked for about 2 miles and then decided to go back and on the way I spotted a monster/dog (probably a bear.. right?) coming around a corner a ways down the path and it didn't have a leash on and I didn't see anyone next to it so I quickly ran back to the nearest sidewalk to the suburbs! The suburbs was just as pretty! Do people really live here?! So amazing. But after a total of 4 miles.. I crashed on the couch with Emma. Intense workouts ya know?
