17 weeks with Emma June!

How far along? 17 weeks!

Total weight gain?: Like 6 pounds. Ahhh! I'm nervous I'm going to gain so much! 

Maternity clothes? No :( I need new clothes though! Everything is too tight! It's so hard working at a clothing store and having to look nice when all I want to wear is my husband T-shirts because it's the only thing that fits!

Stretch marks? No. I'm super itchy around my tummy so I'm getting nervous! I've been trying to put on lotion everyday. 

Sleep?: It's been good. I wake up a ton though! Tiny bladder..

Best moment this week?: Realizing that I'm starting to show! It's so weird to see my tummy protruding so much! Also playing in the snow! 

Miss anything? Really hot baths.. Boy do I constantly want those..

Movement?: Not yet but should be feeling baby Emma move in the next couple weeks! I think I'll probably freak out a bit. 

Food cravings?: Turkey sandwiches. And cucumbers. Okay I've craved cucumbers all my life. 

Anything making you queasy or sick?: If I see gross images. Ugh. Like bloody crap.. Oh labor is going to be SO fun ;)

Gender?: GIRL! I've bought so much clothes for her already! She is going to be my little doll I'm sure :)

Labor signs?: No.

Symptoms?: Hungry, sleepy, no energy. Same as usual. 

Belly button in or out? In.

Wedding rings on or off? On but my skin has been so dry so it hurts to wear jewelry!

Happy or moody most of the time?: Ive been super happy :)

Looking forward to?: Getting our detailed Ultrasound next week! I'm pretty sure she has Trevor's nose!

Jayden & Payton's Baptism

Yesterday my nieces Jayden (11) and Payton (8) were baptized and today they were confirmed members of the church and received the Holy Ghost! It was such an amazing experience. I'm so glad that I was able to be a part of the process and go through the missionary lessons with them. The missionaries we had were so amazing and I'm so glad they were there for Jayden and Payton. I'm so glad that it was their decision to be baptized and how excited and happy they were. They are such great girls and are such great examples to me and all their friends. They definitely emulate the love of Christ to all those around them. My brother Luke (their uncle) baptized and confirmed them. It was such a cool experience. I'm just so proud of them and girls they are becoming!

It's a GIRL!!

Trevor and I are so excited to announce that we are having a baby GIRL ! We have chosen her name to be Emma June. We have loved the name Emma and chose that to be one of our children's names even before we were married! We wanted her middle name to have some meaning so we chose June. It's my grandmother's mother's name. She was an amazing lady. So I'm glad that Emma will have her name with her. We are so excited and have been trying to keep ourselves back from all the baby stores. Its killing us! I can't wait to be a mom and I can't wait for her to be here!

16 Weeks

How far along? 16 weeks. 

Total weight gain?: Well after Thanksgiving I weighed myself and I was 7 pounds overweight! Hopefully it's not that much!

Maternity clothes? Not yet but gosh my clothes are getting a little too tight! I could barely button up my shirt today for church. 

Stretch marks? No. 

Sleep?: Great! I can fall asleep so easily and but I constantly have to get up and pee. ugh. 

Best moment this week?: Finding out that we are having a GIRL!!!

Miss anything? Looking decent in clothing.. I just look fat.

Movement?: Not yet but hopefully soon!

Food cravings?: Chocolate Oranges. Oh my goodness they are so delicious.

Anything making you queasy or sick?: Ive been a little sick and I've been coughing and it makes me gag. 

Gender?: GIRL! I'm so excited for Emma June to be here!

Labor signs?: No.

Symptoms?: Hungry, sleepy, no energy.

Happy or moody most of the time?: Ive been up and down. Goodness!

9 Weeks Pregnant with Baby #1!

How far along? 9 weeks!

Total weight gain?: I went to the doctors and I've only gained 3 pounds! Although I feel like I have gained more!

Maternity clothes? Nope! But I can't wait to go shop in the maternity section in Target!

Stretch marks? No.

Sleep?: I've slept so much and so much better! I'm loving this!

Best moment this week?: Going to our first doctor's appointment! It made it feel all the more real!

Miss anything? Not really.

Movement?: No..

Food cravings?: Fried Rice! 

Anything making you queasy or sick?: My kitten's litter box and the trash cans. My sense of smell is so good now.. too good. 

Gender?: We don't know yet.. it's killing me!

Labor signs?: No.

Symptoms?: Just nausea and I'm always sleepy!

Happy or moody most of the time?: I've actually been soooo much happier but yesterday I was pretty moody. Sorry Trevor!

Looking forward to?: Our first ultrasound in two weeks!

15 weeks!!

Maternity clothes? Nope but my jeans feel a little tight.

Sleep?: I fall asleep a lot faster but I wake up a lot. 

Best moment this week?: Going to Fallon!

Miss anything? Hot tubs! It sounds good ALL the time with this cold weather!

Movement?: No..

Food cravings?: sandwhiches and pickles. Typical. 

Anything making you queasy or sick?: Still trash cans.. Ewwwww

Gender?: We find out in 3 days!!!!! I cannot wait!!!

Meet Sgt. Pepper!

One night out of nowhere I said, "Trev lets get a kitten" and he thought about it for a second and then he called Sue's Pet Castle and they told us they had a bunch of kittens in earlier that day and there was only one left. They were closed so we went the next day and got him! Trevor and I have a mutual love for The Beatles, so we decided to call him Sgt. Pepper from their song "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". Pepper for short. Although I just call him kitty. 

He is tearing our couch apart!

He loves Trevor. 

He loves to sleep on our necks. Creepy?

California

Trevor and I were talking on the phone when he says "let's go to California this weekend!" We didn't think much about it and left the next day!

We left Friday night and stayed in a town outside Vegas. We went to an overpriced buffet which was gross and hung out at the pool. 

The next morning we set off early for California. Can I just say I hate driving there? So stressful. When we got there we went to my favorite store Urban Outfitters. I got a super cute purse and Trevor got an awesome key chain. 

We then went to Huntington Beach and stayed for a couple hours. We forgot sunscreen and boyyy did we pay for it after! We played in the waves and laughed and laughed. It was quite hilarious. 

Later we went and saw Monsters University. Soooo funny! We went glow in the dark bowling with drunk people surrounding us...

The next day we woke up and went to Denny's and the Goodwill. We got some great items. 

We went to Laguna Beach. Not our favorite beach. We were sunburned so we sat by the life guard stand and this guy with a guitar wouldn't stop talking to us! It was crazy. After an exhausting weekend we traveled home.

I just had to put this on here. I feel like he looks so different with a beard! Good thing I like him either way. :)

Arkansas

This last weekend my dad sent my mom and I to Arkansas for our birthdays! My brother Mike and his family live there. It was a blast! Here are some pictures of the weekend!

Sweet Bessie

About a week ago our dog Bessie passed away. She had cancer and was in a lot of pain. My dad had to make the hard decision to put her to sleep. It was a rough time for our family. We were really worried about Luke, because it was his dog. He bought her with his own money. We also adopted out our new dog Lucy so she wouldn't be alone. About six months ago my other dog Buddy got put to sleep. That was really hard as well, especially for Bessie. It broke our hearts to see her so sad without Buddy. It's so nice to know that she is up in Heaven running around pain free, with Buddy.

That night I was really upset and so for scripture study that night Trevor (He is sooo sweet!) read about The Plan Of Salvation. It is so great to know that I'll see my two dogs again. But even more its such a blessing to know that if I do what's right, I will always be with my family. I would be devastated if I went through life thinking that I wouldn't see my family and loved ones after this life. When I worry about things like death, I just have to think of The Plan Of Happiness and it just reassures me that everything will work out. And I'm SO grateful for that knowledge. Although Bessie and Buddy are not here right now, I KNOW I will see them again.

Lately..

•So I got this bowl from the World Market. It was so cute, I couldn't pass it up. I ate out of it during the evening though.. Oops.

•I love this band. Nouvelle Vague. They are a cover band from France. I absolutely LOVE this type of music. It reminds me of Monte Carlo for some reason.

•Found this trash can at TJMaxx. I seriously am thinking about going back to get it. I mean c'mon! It has the Union Jack on it! (I'm obsessed with England).

•All my pretty thank you cards. Thank you Target, I should write one to you.

•All my socks I bought it Vegas. Told you I was obsessed.

•My niece took a million pics of her on my phone.. So I'll embarrass her and put on here! Everyone says we look alike.. But she is WAY too pretty.

Trevor makes dinner..what?!

So Trevor made us spaghetti! That little chef.. It was super good! He did a great job and it looked great! He's such a great husband. I sure love that guy. Forever and ever!

Alone Time

I went on a little shopping trip with myself today. Shouldn't have done that. Oh well I got way cute cups ($1.50 each!!). I'm a little addicted to socks. The dollar store seriously always has the cutest ones! And since they are only a dollar, I get like 7 each time. It's a problem. My favorite find was the Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's playing cards! $2! I was super excited. I guess when it comes down to it, I got pretty great deals today!

Karaoke

Trevor and I went to Karaoke night at Applebee's! We go there most Tuesday nights. We just love to sit there and enjoy the singers. Those who can and can't sing...ouch. Trevor looks like a nerd in this picture because I made him button up his shirt. He was showing WAY too much of his chest area. Modest is hottest Trevor.

First Dinner

So I FINALLY cooked Trevor a meal in our new apartment! We've been living here for about two weeks and I just got around to doing this. It's hard cause you know.. McDonalds is seriously right up the street. What can I say, we are suckers for fast food and eating out! Sorry it's not the best picture.

Day off!

Trevor and I had the day off. BOTH of us. Listen, that NEVER happens. We were pretty excited. We slept in, went and ate at a 50's diner, and went shopping. We had fun spending time together.

Easter Weekend

For Easter weekend we went to Las Vegas with my parents! We had a lot of fun and went to some unique stores. I found too many socks that I liked, so I just got them all. They were only a dollar at the dollar store! I couldn't pass it up.

So I wanted, like most newlyweds do, to document mine and Trevor's new life together. So I decided to blog it! The reason for the blog name is because I'm very shy (demure) and Trevor is very outgoing (unconstrained). Quite the opposite, but we work! So here is to our new life and hoping that I keep up with this blog!
