Sweet Bessie

About a week ago our dog Bessie passed away. She had cancer and was in a lot of pain. My dad had to make the hard decision to put her to sleep. It was a rough time for our family. We were really worried about Luke, because it was his dog. He bought her with his own money. We also adopted out our new dog Lucy so she wouldn't be alone. About six months ago my other dog Buddy got put to sleep. That was really hard as well, especially for Bessie. It broke our hearts to see her so sad without Buddy. It's so nice to know that she is up in Heaven running around pain free, with Buddy.

That night I was really upset and so for scripture study that night Trevor (He is sooo sweet!) read about The Plan Of Salvation. It is so great to know that I'll see my two dogs again. But even more its such a blessing to know that if I do what's right, I will always be with my family. I would be devastated if I went through life thinking that I wouldn't see my family and loved ones after this life. When I worry about things like death, I just have to think of The Plan Of Happiness and it just reassures me that everything will work out. And I'm SO grateful for that knowledge. Although Bessie and Buddy are not here right now, I KNOW I will see them again.
