3 months old!

Emma is now 3 months old! I remember pondering one day after I had Emma of what my life would be like in the months to come and I thought how weird it would be when she was 3 months old. I don't know why that age came to my mind. I know I mention this all the time, but seriously Emma is the best babe. She is so sweet and has a smile that lights up the room. We all have fallen very much in love with her. I love being a mother, and Emma has filled a whole I didn't realize existed. 

This month Emma..

• rubs her eyes when she is getting tired. It's so adorable and it helps me know when she is getting sleepy!
• still sleeps so well and through the night! The other day she slept almost 11 hours!
• loves cuddling with her mama when she is tired. I'll die when she outgrows that.
• scratches and pinches me when she is nursing. I have scratches all over my neck!
• had her first official laugh by my mom, but then a week later she wholeheartedly giggled and now we can make her laugh now and again. it's the most precious laugh in the world. I was lying down on the ground after church and Trevor set her on my chest and we were laughing because she looked funny when she burst out laughing and now every time we do it she cracks up!
• got her first virus. Soooo sad. Poor girl was so sick. I was actually in poor health as well and being a mom to a sick baby is hard, but being a sick mom to a sick baby was unbelievable! Thank heavens for my mom!!
• smiles while sucking on her pacifier.
• sticks out her tongue if we do. It's hilarious. 
• has discovered her feet! If we leave her alone we will always find her staring at them.
• constantly gags herself from sucking on her fingers.
• is super grabby. With hair. Especially hair.
• keeps trying to sit up! Stop growing up!!
• loves to talk. She is always jabbering away and it's always sad stories.
• and lastly she ROLLS OVER! What! We have to keep a watch on her constantly.
