5 months!

Holy cow.. Emmylou is 5 months old! Stahp! I keep looking at her and thinking how big she looks. The doctor said she is still pretty small for her age but she looks so big to me! She has gained exactly 8 pounds since she was born! It's crazy to think that over 5 months ago she was still inside my belly and basically a part of me. I do miss that but she is SO much more fun outside. :) Speaking of fun.. she is at the age now where she is super playful and super smiley. She smiles at pretty much anyone who talks to her. She has always been a great sleeper but lately she has NOT. I read somewhere before this happened that a lot of babies do this around 4 or 5 months.. so I'm pretty much back to getting her on the PDF schedule.. (Read Babywise!). Although she is ruining my sleep schedule, I sure do love her! Poor girl has been sick.. hope she gets better soon so I can have my fun loving baby back!

I had to take pictures of Emma in her Halloween costume! Our cute little ballerina! So i just went along with the Halloween theme..

This month Emma..

• scrunches up her face and sniffs really fast.. so funny!
• loves sleeping by her mama, but I only let that happen in the morning. It's too scary!
• sucks on her bottom lip.
• yells at us.. not a cry..  a yell.
• has uncontrollable hands! When she is nursing she is constantly pinching my neck and going all over the place.
• sticks her hands in her mouth.
• chews on her feet.
• eats rice cereal.
• sits up so well!
• laughs and smiles so easily!
